Anax Logistics was established in 2007 by Mr & Mrs Mgqibelo in East London as an enterprise development company providing non-core services to MBSA. Anax being a BBBEE Level 1 black owned company started with 5 employees in 2007 and has since grown to now employ 156 full time employees. We have ever since gained diverse expertise in the Logistics, Warehousing & Automotive sectors. Our management team have several decades of experience in their related fields that has seen this young company grow from strength to strength.

Managing Director & C.E.O.: Eric Mgqibelo

His experience of 21 years experience in Motor Industry started in humble beginnings at MBSA Training Centre, then moved on to become; Quality Assurance Engineer, Final Inspection Team Manager, CV Production Manager, Colt & C Class Manufacturing Manager.

Eric hold a Bachelor of Technology Degree at UPE, and has completed second level MBA with Unisa. He also hold various certificates in Operations and Finance management from UCT.

Operations Manager: Thomas J Smith

Thomas Smith has vast experience in Automotive Manufacturing with over 30 years in Production Management at Mercedes-Benz South Africa.

Thomas has been exposed to international Production and Product Development in Thailand and he was tasked to with introduction of new Triton model in South Africa.

Operations and Safety Manager: Shane Naidoo

Shane Naidoo has several years of experience in auditing, safety and operations and is overall responsible for the company’s business units related to the petrochemical industry in all geographic locations including transportation, warehousing and distribution.

Shane successfully introduced a safety management and QMS system into the various operations and has steered the company’s fuel transport operation to its current growth status. Shane works closely with Total SA senior management to ensure contracts compliance and the growth of the transport business unit.
